Overview
15th October 2020 | Online
in partnership with The Fatherhood Institute

Creating a family-friendly workplace allows parents to engage more fully at home and at work, benefitting productivity, wellbeing, staff loyalty and retention

The Government Equalities Office ‘Family Friendly Policies’ guide for employers, released earlier this year, outlines that necessary adaptation is three-stranded, and relatively clear-cut. Amending flexible working, parental leave and childcare support policies are fundamental to family-friendly workplace practice.

At ‘Developing a Family-Friendly Workplace’, you will have the opportunity to hear from speakers pioneering these policies on how to successfully adopt and implement them, whilst learning from experienced practitioners about embedding and championing these changes.

Due to current uncertainty surrounding live events and restrictions around social distancing, this event will now take place online. The content for the day exactly mirrors that of the live event, and there will be plenty of time built into the day for Q&A and interaction with speakers and fellow delegates. Video recordings of each session will also be made available to delegates following the event.
