Video Session | Understanding employers' roles in mental health at work in the 'new normal'

The below video features a session recording from our recent 'Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace' event.

In this session, Abigail Hirshman (Head of Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing, Acas) provided valuable insight for employers and managers on the subject of 'Rights and responsibilities: understanding employers' roles in mental health at work in the 'new normal'.

Included in Abigail's guidance are the following points:

  • Ensuring company policies provide for mental health difficulties
  • Examining legislation around mental health disability discrimination
  • Workplace adjustments: simple provisions to support staff mental wellbeing

Mental health will also be a focus of our upcoming 'Organisational Resilience: Supporting Staff Wellbeing to Accelerate Productivity' event, taking place online on Tuesday, 25th August. Take a look at the agenda here
