Dods Diversity & Inclusion announces the return of in-person events

From March onwards, Women into Leadership and BAME into Leadership conferences will be held at various locations across the country

Dods Diversity & Inclusion has announced that in-person events will return from March onwards, with Birmingham playing host to Women into Leadership on 17 March, followed by BAME into Leadership on 24 March, both to be held at the NEC. These conferences are Dods D&I's flagship events, organised in partnership with civil service trade union the FDA.

Dods D&I provides unique experience-sharing events designed to champion diversity and accelerate inclusion in workplaces across the UK. Events had to shift to online following the onset of Covid-19.

Women and BAME into Leadership conferences are in their twelfth year. They have established themselves as the key events for all those interested in seeing leadership opportunities enhanced for women and Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic colleagues across the civil service and wider public sector.

Claire Walmsley, Director of Dods D&I, said: "After a series of incredibly well-received virtual events in 2020 and 2021, as a team we could not be more thrilled to be meeting delegates face to face once again from March."

Women into Leadership in-person events will also be hosted in Edinburgh on 19 May, in London on 15 September, and in Manchester on 24 November. The agendas and registration options are available on the event's website.

BAME into Leadership in-person conferences will also be held in Leeds on 6 July and in London on 20 October. The agendas and registration options are available on the event's website.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees of the online events, Dods D&I has made the decision to continue to offer a virtual attendance option in 2022. Walmsley explained: "Whilst we know many delegates are as excited as we are to experience in-person events once again, there is still a real appetite for our online offering."

The BAME into Leadership online conference is on 9 June, while Women into Leadership will be held online on 20 July.

Walmsley concluded: "With brand new agendas featuring leading voices from the Civil Service and beyond, 2022 could not be a better time to gather your colleagues and join us for the personal development opportunity of the year."
