Overview
Diversity, Inclusion and the Healthcare Workforce: Attracting, supporting and retaining diverse talent
There is a clear and compelling need to cultivate a more diverse, inclusive Healthcare workforce in the UK. The moral obligation is indisputable, and the legal case is clear. There is also robust evidence demonstrating the benefits of inclusion and equality in the workplace: a more sustainable workforce, improved quality of care for patients, and increased efficiency of services.
And yet, discrimination remains rife at every stage of the career pipeline. More than 1 in 8 NHS staff reported experiencing discrimination at work in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic has only exacerbated inequalities further, and urgent action must now be taken to make meaningful interventions and force tangible progress.
Join us on Thursday 17th February 2022 for a full day’s online training on attracting, supporting and retaining a diverse Healthcare workforce.
